Аннотация The collection demonstrated that peace and security have always been prominent features of Soviet foreign policy. They are traced through all stages of our country's existence, from Lenin's 1917 Decree on Peace up to the present. Much space is allotted to the USSR's struggle for peaceful coexistence, detente, against the threat of war. The articles show how the Peace Programme forwarded by the 24th, further elaborated by the 25th and 26th CPSU Congresses and now being consistently implemented by the Party and the Government exerts a tremendous influence on the situation in the world.
