The book is principally intended for high-school students who are interested in mathematics and wish to obtain a more thorough knowledge. It can be of use to students whose aim is to learn to solve problems in elementary mathematics. The authors also hope that school teachers will find some material in the book which they will use in their everyday work. The book contains more than two thousand problems, from the simplest to the advanced. About a third of the problems are provided with detailed solutions. |
